The rules of the mountain.
Mountain Mining Protocol v5 is a wallet-verified, server-accounted mining game on Base. No player-to-player marketplace, Expedition fragments or referral economy is part of this release.
Timed strikes
One-hour session, 500 daily session starts per wallet.
Wallet verified
MMP and elements require a signed Base wallet.
Fail-closed
Invalid or incomplete chain/database state never becomes a reward.
The v5 economy
MMP has a 1,000,000,000 total supply. 990,000,000 MMP is reserved for the mining Vault and 10,000,000 MMP is separate market-making/liquidity allocation. The Vault equation is 990M minus distributed MMP plus returned MMP.
Timed manual mining
A verified Base wallet may open one server-authoritative one-hour mining session at a time, with a configurable daily maximum of 500 sessions per wallet. The client timer is display-only; settlement is accepted only after the server session completes. Rewards are calculated server-side from the daily manual pool, the active pickaxe multiplier and the server-selected element multiplier.
Elements
Each strike has a cryptographically generated server-side result: no element 40%, Obsidian 20%, Iron 18%, Steel 10%, Silver 6%, Gold 3.5%, Titanium 1.8% and Mithril 0.7%. Elements are wallet-bound gram balances, cannot be transferred or sold, and are consumed only to earn a pickaxe.
Soulbound pickaxes
Stone is free. Obsidian, Iron, Steel, Silver, Gold, Titanium and Mithril can be bought with USDC or earned by consuming the required element balance. Each wallet can own one of each type. Pickaxes are permanent, non-transferable and every owned pickaxe contributes to Mining Power at the same time.
Worker mining
A worker costs 0.10 USDC per day, with a maximum of 20 workers per wallet. Worker output comes from the daily worker pool and is capped at 100 MMP per worker. A worker is activated only after both user-signed USDC transfers are confirmed on Base.
Direct payment routing
Pickaxe purchases use Base Mainnet USDC and are routed only to the configured pickaxe recipient 0x130cbd281e819fa7d43161058c5a4670c82e5ec4. The user signs the transfer directly; the server holds no USDC private key and verifies token, chain, amount, recipient, receipt and duplicate transaction state before activation. Worker rental is a separate revenue source and remains blocked while LP configuration is pending.
Fail-closed integrity
Guest Miner IDs cannot earn MMP or elements. Mining and acquisition require a wallet-bound account. Cooldowns, daily limits, row locks, unique action IDs, atomic balance updates and ledger invariants prevent replay, double spending and pool over-allocation.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals remain closed before launch. They will open only after mainnet readiness is confirmed and both the database flag and server release flag are enabled. When enabled, the minimum will be 1,000 MMP, 5% returns to the Vault and the net amount becomes available after 24 hours.
